At the time of travel booking with Parinacota Expeditions, "the participant" is subject to the following conditions:
1. Health.
a. It is expected that all participants are cerciorados of your health before departure and are able to complete the trip and are required to confirm that you are considered healthy enough to undertake the journey.
b. Before departure, any participant with existing or pre-existing medical condition, with a disease or disability or is on medication, you should tell Expeditions fully Parinacota this situation as soon as possible. Parinacota Expeditions reserves the right to cancel the contract if it considers that the information given by the particiapante may compromise the integrity of your health. The failure to report the health situation in its entirety constitutes a violation of these Terms and Conditions and (subject to paragraph 4 lines below) Parinacota Expeditions is not responsible for any illness or injury of any participant, when these are caused by omitting information in due time.
Parinacota Expeditions reserves the right to ask any participant to leave the tour without restitution if it is established that the information provided by the participant has been misleading, inaccurate or incomplete.
c. Parinacota Expeditions is not responsible for any illness, whether serious or during travel contrataída passing any error in complying with the advice and warnings given to the participant before the trip, for example, but not limited, malaria, hepatitis or AIDS. All information provided by Parinacota Expeditions in relation to health care is given in good faith and can only provide an overview of the health risks and requirements for the issue. Note that this information does not replace medical advice.
d. Once the journey has begun Parinacota Expeditions reserves the right to decide whether for health reasons a participant should stop journey similar situation in exercise activities that are to be programmed (biking, hiking, etc.).
All participants must make vaccines and drugs needed within a prudent before departure and during the expedition (as applicable) and you should consult your doctor as to which vaccinations and medications required and request advice to the itinerary. Parinacota Expeditions reserves the right to inspect the vaccination book any participant at any time cancel any application in the event that the participant in question has not received all required immunizations or medications.
f. It is the responsibility of the participant to seek medical advice on all matters of his for the trip. All participants should be aware that the general rules of health, safety and hygiene in the countries to be visited are not up to Western standards, and the risk of injury, fatigue and disease inherent in the crossing to be held in Bolivia.
2. Travel documents.
It is the responsibility of the participant to comply with the documentation required for the visa, passport and other travel documents and Parinacota Expeditions is not responsible in the event that a participant has not made the necessary arrangements. All information provided by Parinacota Expeditions regarding travel documentation is given in good faith but without responsibility on the part of Parinacota Expeditions.
3. Travel and cancellation insurance.
a. All participants must be adequately protected by insurance that covers all aspects of the trip. Parinacota Expeditions reserves the right to inspect the policy purchased by participants and cancel any booking if it considers that the policy in question is insufficient or defective. It suggests hiring an insurance policy against theft, loss of luggage, looting, illness, repatriation and accidents.
b. Notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph 3 a), Parinacota Expeditions does not question the adequacy of any insurance policy and will not be liable in the event that the insurance policy contracted by the participant is insufficient or defective.
4. Responsibility of Parinacota Expeditions.
c. All entries are accepted with the understanding that the trip may involve some risk and that this risk is considered by the participants included the chance of injury, sickness, disease, delay and loss or damage to property. All participants agree to take part in the trips at your own risk. Consequently, Parinacota Expeditions is not responsible for any damage or loss in the following cases:
• attributable to any action or behavior of the participant.
• Attributable to third parties unrelated to the functions performed by Parinacota Expeditions.
• Due to circumstances beyond the control of Parinacota Expeditions, including (but not limited to) the circumstances listed in paragraph 6 (a) below.
d. Parinacota Expeditions is liable in all the other cases, to the extent that you Bolivian law requires.
5. Responsibility of participants.
a. Parinacota Expeditions makes every effort to advise participants on issues of personal safety and in order to guarantee adequate supervision in each of the activities to be carried on the expedition. However, participants must behave and act at all times in a responsible and diligent about their own safety and well-being and that of others. They should be aware that any injury or damage caused by their own actions, negligence or failure to follow instructions given by staff, will be your responsibility and will be subject to the law.
b. It is expected that all participants respect and obey the laws and customs of the countries visited during the expedition, and the rules and regulations endowed by Parinacota Expeditions staff, institutions or companies with which this work or any other person or entity in a position of responsibility.
c. The decision of Parinacota Expeditions, its employees and agents with respect to any matter relating to the issue is final and all instructions issued by them must be obeyed by each participant at the appropriate time.
6. Flexibility / Changes / Cancellation by Parinacota Expeditions.
a. The participant agrees, understands and acknowledges that, given the nature of the trip and the places where is the issue require a flexible approach must allow for the possibility, if necessary, some arrangements.
The program, as shown in the itinerary, should be taken as a guide indication of what the tour should include, but not as a contractual obligation to be fulfilled to the letter by Parinacota Expeditions. The participant should note that the activities, schedules, itineraries, amenities and transport modes may be subject to change without prior notice due to local circumstances or events beyond the control of Parinacota Expeditions. These may include (but are not limited to) illness of some member or mechanical breakdown, flight cancellations, strikes, events caused by political disputes, border difficulties, problems related to weather and other unforeseen circumstances.
b. Parinacota Expeditions reserves the right to alter any itinerary, promising to be possible to inform the participant in writing.
c. Parinacota Expeditions is not responsible in the event that for reasons beyond the issue be suspended, modified or canceled. Among these reasons are (but not so limited) strikes, lockouts, war, civil unrest, government forms, and natural disasters. However, in such circumstances, Parinacota Expeditions will strive to restore to each participant as a large part of the travel expenses, in case of cancellation before or during the trip.
7. Fees and Payments.
a. Once the reservation is made a non refundable deposit of U.S. $ 50 (or 50% of the total cost, which is lower) per participant should be sent to Parinacota Expeditions in order to confirm a participant's place on the trip.
b. The balance, according to the scheduled appointment and that was confirmed in the final bill is paid at least 1 day prior to departure.
8. Cancellation by the participant.
Cancellations must be reported to Parinacota Expeditions in working hours in written or verbal. Cancellation fees will apply from day Parinacota Expeditions receive a written cancellation. The cancellation policies are expressed as percentage of total money paid directly to Parinacota Expeditions.
• Payment of 25% in advance to reserve any tour.
• 50% for 15/30 days before departure.
• 75% for the 4/14 days before departure.
• 100% if less than 3 business days prior to departure.
9. Cancellation by Parinacota Expeditions.
Cancellation must be communicated orally or in writing to each participant. Any cancellation made by Parinacota Expeditions means a 100% refund to participants. It will not be added any compensation.
10. Delayed and canceled flights.
Parinacota Expeditions is not responsible for delayed or canceled flights, whether or not included in the itinerary. Parinacota Expeditions is not responsible for any damage or inconvenience the flight schedule changes may cause participants.
However, Parinacota Expeditions help in organizing new outlets, and assume the obligation to inform third parties if necessary.
11. Rates and surcharges.
Parinacota Expeditions reserves the right to impose surcharges at any time in the event of unfavorable movements in exchange rates, increases in transportation costs, or taxes, or if government policy actions force us to do so.
12. Accuracy of information.
Attests Expeditions Parinacota all information is provided on their website and this is correct at the time of publication. All other third-party information content can be considered unreliable.
13. Complaints.
Any complaints about aspects of the trip should be directed in the first instance and at the first opportunity to tour leader so he / she can try to rectify the situation. It is understood that only if Parinacota Expeditions and its staff are properly and promptly informed may find the opportunity to rectify any situation that gave rise to the complaint. If the matter is not resolved to the satisfaction of the participants, they must inform the Director of Expeditions Parinacota within 28 days after completion of service provided by Parinacota Expeditions.
14. Law and Jurisdiction.
a. Any controversy or claim of whatever nature, arising out of this document or related in any way to these Terms and Conditions, any agreements deviniese of these Terms and Conditions or any breach of any of the terms hereof shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Chile.
b. The participant acknowledges and irrevocably agrees that the courts of Chile shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim of whatever nature, arising out of or relating in any way to these Terms and Conditions or any other agreement relating to the expedition.
